What makes life in secondary school so unforgettable

What makes life in secondary school so unforgettable

The secondary school occupied 7 years in my life, for years ,this period is the most valuable   treasure of every schoolchild’s mind , including me. To excavate the reasons causing life in secondary school deeply rooted in our hearts ,we need to go through the memory in those days like walking along for a long , fulfilling way , recalling so many magical days. High school life is irreplaceable because of its uniqueness , from the sense of unity to the life-long friendships and the process of growing to maturity .

The sense of unity is a significant part in my secondary life. Unlike in the colleges, class is the unit grouping students in secondary school. In each class , about 30 to 40 students gathered together as an member of the class and contributed to the class. For example ,a basketball match will be held each year , I remembered both classmates and class teachers took part in the match and won the trophy as an united team in last year of my secondary school life. Apart from that ,every student were eager to take duty and contribute to the class ,such as being the class monitors or subject monitors who assisted both teachers classmates. In the class , each classmates is willing to contribute and share since their hearts were put together by the strong sense of unity which made the experience in secondary school so indelible .

Needless to say , a long-lasting friendship with different classmates is the single best asset I gained from the secondary school , making my secondary school life unforgettable. Comparing with the life in university , I got much more time to spend with my classmates doing wide-ranging stuffs in school and building permanent friendship finally such as whispering during the lessons , cheating in the quiz , gossiping about news in the school ,exercising in the playground after school, struggling reluctantly with the annoying homework, being punished by the director of discipline ,going through the public examination , every single second was record like a diary wrote in my mind. With fewer conflicts of interests , my classmates were willing to help each other. For example , I was one of the beneficiary under the helping hand from one of my best friends who stayed until the close time of school teaching me how to solve the difficult questions of mathematics before the final examination . In those years , we shared joys and sorrows , making the friendships with each other long-lasting and the days in secondary school so unique.

Secondary school life can be regarded as the witness of the way of growing to maturity for every student. From stepping into school as an small ,innocent child to a tall , mature adult graduate, the seven-year-long secondary school life did change everybody physically and mentally. For instance, students did learn a lesson from public examination by undergoing a stressful period which deprived most of their time of entertainment. However , no matter how the result of public examination is , everyone gained the precious experience and  became a much more mature person since they finally finished such a tough mission . Apart from that , through daily communicating with classmates and making contributions to the class, I learned the right attitude and manners towards people and doing things and became willing to take responsibility when I was graduate . Hardly can I find  another period witnessed such remarkable change in my life. Therefore , the life in secondary school is that unique and unforgettable .

Years later, I may hardly remember the formulas in mathematics or the content of text books I studied during the life in secondary school but I cannot forget the smiley faces of my classmates , the strong sense of unity in my class and my personal growth in those days because they completed my secondary school life and made it such unforgettable and memorable.

I have the same feeling as you because I have the best friends and the most unforgettable memories in my secondary school. There is a saying that the university prepares us to go to the society, and it is just a small-scaled community here. Students no longer belong to a single class because they are arranged to attend different courses, and the time for students to communicate decreases. We can only adapt to the situation as we cannot change anything.

The reasons mentioned are clearly explained because you have given a lot of examples in the essay to make them easy to understand. Moreover, It is good to see that you have used topic sentences for each main paragraph to make the essay structured. Maybe you can modify the last paragraph a little bit instead of just writing a simple conclusion. For example, you can talk about what you could do in order to make your university life contented). This allows the readers, in their point of view, to think more after reading your essay.

I think your article has a very clear and well-knit structure, especially the beginning and ending. I notice that you recalled a example about the friendship between your friends. But i think since you have chosen a such resourceful topic, maybe you can still give more detailed examples or incidents. That would always be more interesting and moving to show examples compared with expressing too much personal emotion and too abstract activities.
Also, besides the three reasons you mentioned, there must be other reasons why secondary school life is such precious, i think it would be better to briefly talk of them at the end of your essay, providing some incentives for readers to really walk into the theme and arise responses.

  3. Yes, the life in secondary school is the best memory in our lives (at least up to now). Friends in college are more close to each other, compared with school mates in university. In university, we seldom know others full name while in college, we know our class mates well and call their name directly. Treasure your college mates!

  4. you have well-established structure with the sense of unity, long-lasting friendship and witness of the way of growing to maturity for every student. These three points is inspiring and you give touching explanations about them. I believe many HK students would agree college is the best. We will not lose the memory of our college life. Readers will have same feelings brought by your writing incentives. Good work!

  6. Can't agree more that life in secondary school is an unforgettable experience that gives us life-long memories. At that time we had the same people sitting around us like a family, we had tests, we encouraged each other and we grew together. The article is well structured and so touching because it connects with people's feelings. ---Lilia
